Update OSHatWorkIf you have an existing installation of OSHatWork (for managing your own data), but it is not the latest version, and you want to update to the latest version, follow these instructions. |
Install OSHatWorkUse these instructions if you've just acquired a new licence for managing your own data and you will therefore be installing OSHatWork from scratch on one or more computers. Also use these instructions if you have deleted the program completely and want to install it from scratch (optionally incorporating your existing data file, in which case you would have received advice from us on this). OSHatWork will install on a Microsoft Windows computer that has Microsoft Access on it. (You can also deploy it via thin client etc). If you don't have a full licence for Microsoft Access you can use the free runtime version that is available from Microsoft, and the instructions advise you on how to get this. |
Update OSHatWork DemoTo update an existing copy of the OSHatWork Demo you just need to use the uninstaller (located in the OSHatWorkDemo folder on your computer) to remove the previous Demo, then follow the "Install OSHatWork Demo" instructions below to install the latest version. |
Install OSHatWork DemoThe Demo includes sample data to make it easy for you to assess the suitability of the program for you. The Demo will install on a Microsoft Windows computer that has Microsoft Access on it. If you don't have a full licence for Microsoft Access you can use the free runtime version that is available from Microsoft, and the instructions advise you on how to get this. If you have a licence to use OSHatWork for managing your own data you may choose to also install the Demo for user training purposes. The Demo Copy is installed separately from the copy of OSHatWork that you use to manage your real data, so users can try out various things in the Demo without affecting your real data. |
